Hi, I'm Ellie!
Teaching approach: I focus on making French fun, approachable, and confidence-building. I adapt my lessons to each student's learning style, pace, and goals.
Teaching techniques: I use clear explanations, real-life examples, conversation practice, vocabulary games, memory techniques, and interactive exercises to help students understand and retain concepts.
Typical lesson plan:
Quick review of previous material
Introduction of a new concept (grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, or reading)
Guided practice with examples and exercises
Speaking practice and activities to apply what was learned
Summary of key takeaways and practice tips
What sets me apart: As a Grade 12 IB student with DELF B1 certification, an IB French score of 6/7, and a 93% French average, I understand the challenges students face and can explain concepts from a student's perspective.
