About Maya
I have always excelled in the math and science courses offered at my school, and my grades have always been high 90s. In the fall of 2023, I will be starting an undergraduate degree for a bachelor of science. I understand STEM concepts very well and am able to pick up new ideas fast. As for tutoring experience, I have been selected to tutor other students at the high school and middle school in my town for many years.

I've become comfortable with many styles of learning over my years, in high school, and have learned that it is best to adapt a strategy based on the learner. I take a personal approach for everyone, alternating learning methods to you! My lessons would typically include some time spent finding out what you do and don't know, then maybe reframing the things you don't understand. There are many strategies to understand something better, and together we will find what works best for you! Some strategies I like to use are open ended questions, visuals, and real life applications. My tutoring is available to anyone at a high school level or lower.
