About Sasha

I was born in Panama and lived there for 26 years. I am now 32 and have been living in Chicago for 5 years. I started learning English when I was 26, just 6 months before I came to the United States. It was challenging but not impossible. Today, I can say that I have a good command of English, and I never stop learning. Learning a new language was very exciting for me and helped me meet new people in a new city.

I also studied accounting, and now I am a coach for people with disabilities. I am about to start a new career as a psychologist.

About the lesson

6. Storytelling: Encourage students to create their own stories in Spanish, which can help you practice sentence structure and vocabulary creatively.
