About Jane

Doing math should not be perceived as a job that one does because one has to… I myself make a living by being a teaching assistant and I like leading discussions but do not like grading a large number of papers during midterms etc

About the lesson

i prefer using strategic questioning like using an open ended questions such as tell me how you solved and ask them to communicate their approach. In this approach you will be able to achieve two things :
1. The student is encouraged to reflect on their own thought process in detail.and instead of just doing Maths , they will understand exactly the steps they took and begin to see how these might be adapted to future more challenging problems.
2. Other students get the opportunity to see how could they have solved their problems even if they have struggled to do so originally.
