About Tanaka
Teaching for me started as charity work as I did help some students study for their GCSE Maths exam and they did extremely well in their exams.
This gave me great joy and the drive to explore more into the world of teaching.

I am a self motivated tutor who strives to ensure that a student grasps concepts that are essential to pass exams and for use in real world application. I take a patient approach to my teaching style in making sure that a student understands even the most complex ideas. I am very engaging in my lessons and use real life examples that make learning easier and enjoyable. I am very familiar with my learning material as have been studying
Mathematics and Accounting for the greater part of my life. I will be to sure to answer any questions regarding areas of specialisation in these subjects. I attained 13As and 1B at GCSE. I studied five subjects at A- Level namely, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Accounting and Further Mathematics and achieved grade A in all the subjects. I graduated from Heriot-Watt University with a BSc in Actuarial Science. This course did delve more into the world of Mathematics, Statistics and Probability. Owing to my passion for accounting as well, am currently studying a joint programme for Accounting and Taxation with ICAEW(Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales).
