About Chase
I am a graduate of the University of Florida, with a bachelor's degree in microbiology and cell sciences. Additionally, I am an aspiring physician currently in the process of applying to medical school. I have previously worked as a supplemental instructor for the UF department of biochemistry and have always loved to help students reach their fullest potentials. My favorite aspect of tutoring is watching my students' confidence grow by the session, as they overcome their circular obstacles. I have come to learn that everyone is capable of achieving great things within academia; it just takes the right mindset and support to reach for those goals. As your tutor, I will dedicate myself to providing you with comprehensive and interactive sessions that focus on understanding instead of memorizing. I look forward to begin working with you and helping you achieve the grades you deserve.

I believe teaching should be a very interactive process. Students should be able to have practical examples, supplementary images/diagrams, and group-based exercises of the material covered and should be encouraged to ask questions at all times. While it is of the upmost importance that I also can present and lecture in a comprehensive and easily understood manner, having the student be an active member of the learning process is just as critical in ensuring that knowledge is being acquired and retained.

Chase was an amazing tutor! He was so patient with me and really explained everything in a helpful manner. When I first started getting tutored by him I really did not have any understanding but after our sessions were done I fully understood the subject and got an A in my class.
