About Reshma

I am a design professional with a strong academic and industry background in architecture and drafting. After completing my undergraduate degree in India, I founded and successfully ran my own design firm for five years, gaining hands-on experience in architectural drawings, 3D modeling, and client-focused project execution. I'm currently expanding my global perspective through a master’s program and an internship with an Australia-based firm, where I'm further refining my technical skills and industry knowledge. I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy sharing knowledge and helping others grow. During my undergraduate studies, I mentored and tutored juniors, which sparked my passion for teaching. I found it fulfilling to break down complex concepts into simpler, more digestible lessons, especially in software like AutoCAD and SketchUp. These tools can seem intimidating at first, but with the right approach, they become powerful and intuitive. My goal is to empower students and young professionals to use these tools efficiently and confidently, bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world application.

About the lesson

I am a 26-year-old tutor with a strong foundation in architectural drafting and design. I hold an undergraduate degree from India, where I also ran my own design firm for five years, gaining hands-on industry experience. Currently, I’m completing a six-month internship with an Australia-based firm after my postgraduate studies

My teaching approach is structured yet flexible, focusing on easy-to-understand, efficient drafting techniques. I specialize in simplifying AutoCAD and SketchUp by using intuitive, easy-to-remember commands and shortcuts that significantly speed up 2D and 3D drawing processes. My lessons are typically 60–90 minutes long and are tailored to suit beginners as well as intermediate users, whether students or professionals.

I have prior experience tutoring university juniors during my undergraduate years, which helped me develop a clear and patient teaching style. I emphasize building a strong foundation in the software while also teaching practical, real-world applications that align with current industry standards. My goal is to make learners confident, independent, and efficient in using AutoCAD and SketchUp.
