About Trisha

Hi everyone, I'm Trisha. With a university degree and over 10 years of experience in art and design, I have a deep appreciation for the freedom and creativity that these fields offer. I love being in a learning environment where I can teach and grow alongside my students. Tutoring in mixed media allows me to share my passion and help others explore their own artistic potential.

Mixed Media (Art) - Short Course (6 weeks)

Objective:
To introduce students to the basics of 2-3 selected media, focusing on brush strokes, techniques, tips, and tricks, and guiding them to complete 3 drawings using different techniques.

Course Structure:

- Week 1:
- Introduction to the selected media (e.g., watercolor, acrylic, ink)
- Basic brush strokes and application techniques
- Guided practice session

- Week 2:
- Advanced brush techniques
- Understanding and applying color theory
- Individual drawing assignment 1 (basic technique)

- Week 3:
- Exploring texture creation and layering
- Techniques for blending and shading
- Individual drawing assignment 2 (intermediate technique)

- Week 4:
- Detailing and finishing techniques
- Incorporating various elements into compositions
- Tips and tricks for refining drawings

- Week 5:
- Composition and layout strategies
- Critique session on individual progress
- Individual drawing assignment 3 (advanced technique)

- Week 6:
- Final touches and presentation methods
- Group critique and feedback
- Exhibition of completed works

Product: 3 complete drawings using 3 different techniques.

Length of Lessons:
Each session will be 1 hours long:
- Theoretical instruction and demonstration, hands-on practice and individual work

Type of Lessons:
- Analogue Art: In-person classes with hands-on activities, demonstrations, and individual guidance.
