About Niall

I am a thirty-four year old Irishman from Dublin who has been working in Education since qualifying ten years ago from Trinity College. After I completed my Undergraduate Degree I undertook a Masters in Teaching in Dublin City University and have been working in the same school since I finished my studies. I am very committed, diligent, transparent and really value different opinions and am always open to new ways of approaching lessons or any issues students may have.

Irish is my dominant subject and I have worked with both Junior and Senior Cycle students in preparation for their State Exams.

About the lesson

My style is very interactive, questions-based and facilitates lots of dialogue. I focus on exam questions, vocab, oral work and give students exam-focused tips to maximise performance on the day. I have particular expertise in preparing for the Junior and Leaving Cert Orals and my feedback from parents is testament to that.T

The length of lessons can be between 30 and 60 minutes depending on your preference, to ensure maximum attention and retention of material covered. I create short assessments to check for understanding of material covered in the previous lesson and am open to doing a couple of lessons each week at times which suit you.
