About Bronwyn

Hiya, I'm Bronwyn. I'm in my late twenties and have worked in STEM as both a meteorologist and in a mathematics optimization company. I have loved using science out in the world, from forecasting weather for the Army all the way through to training clients in using software. Having recently returned to study Occupational Therapy, I am passionate about helping people, and would love the opportunity to work together on helping you to achieve your goals.

About the lesson

I love to understand where you are at, what you are struggling with, and identify where you want to go. I spend the first session with you understanding your personal learning style, what helps you to grasp information, and what in particular you may be trying to achieve through your studies. I work with you to develop some goals to work towards and together we identify some key steps that we can work on together to help you achieve these goals.

I prefer one on one lessons as it gives us a chance to really understand what works and what doesn't for you. Typically I like to work together in blocks of 1-2hrs. I genuinely believe that learning how to learn maths and science is the biggest hurdle, and once you have developed the core skills of understanding how to tackle those tricky problems, you will flourish.

Having worked in STEM for the past 5+ years I have been able to apply my Bachelor of Mathematics and Bachelor of Physics, and would love to bring some real world examples into your learning. In addition, I have returned to study Occupational Therapy as I love working with people and seeing them grow. I am comfortable working with anyone from upper primary through to about second year university, but please send me a message and we can discuss if I am a good fit for you :)
