About Sanjeev

Understanding new concepts are tricky which is why I find my best quality is explaining difficult things in smaller blocks with examples so students can properly absorb information. I have been there recently and I know how hard it is to grasp something, but with a little guidance you can definitely get there. I love tutoring students who have a drive to do their best, those who will put the effort in behind the scenes and then collect any difficult questions or doubts for a lesson so they can understand where they are going wrong.

About the lesson

Having gone through the struggle of high school subjects and then further my study through engineering to now working a job in that field. Applying Maths and Physics is a part of my everyday life. Looking back on my journey I understand everything so much better and now with the help of real life problems to relate to concepts I want to help students with their studies in a way I never had.

My teaching philosophy is to point students in the right direction and give them the satisfaction of actually knowing how to solve questions so they can gin more confidence and belief in their abilities.

I have been tutoring students while I was a high school student and while I was studying in University I have tutored in both Cambridge and a little bit of NCEA. My lessons are for those students sitting external exams in these curriculums but I can also tutor year levels below if they have material to learn.

Typical length of a lesson is 1 hour, but if students would like more I am flexible.
