About Joselito
I'm Joselito Tanilong, who taught in Florida, United States for 3 years and 8 years in Bahrain, Middle East. With my variety range of teaching, I was able to help students be successful and be proficient. My teaching philosophy centers on driving measurable student learning gains through data-informed instruction and 21st-century frameworks. Most recently, as a Grade 7 Regular and Advanced Mathematics Teacher at Lincoln Middle School in the Manatee County School District, I actively contributed to elevating our school accountability rating from a Level C to a Level B. Through targeted interventions and standard-aligned lesson plans, I successfully raised student math proficiency from 27% to 43% and boosted overall learning gains from 61% to 70% within a single academic year.
