About Liezel
I’ve been teaching English for more than ten years, and one thing I’ve learned is that no two students learn the same way. Some speak right away. Others need a little more time, and that’s completely fine.
My background in English Language Arts, literacy intervention, and Special Education has taught me how to meet learners where they are and help them move forward.
And please, don’t worry about making mistakes in my class. Speak. Try. Ask questions. We’ll work on it together. That’s how learning happens.
I want our lessons to feel comfortable, but purposeful. We can laugh and enjoy the conversation, but you can also expect me to guide you, correct you when needed, and help you see your progress.
So, come as you are. Bring your goals, your questions, and even your mistakes. I’m Liezel, and I’d be happy to be part of your English-learning journey.

Hello, dear students! I’m teacher Liezel Villasana, an English educator from the Philippines with over ten years of experience teaching diverse learners.
My strength is adaptability. I’ve worked with confident speakers, struggling readers, hesitant learners, and students with different learning needs. With my background in English Language Arts, literacy intervention, and 36 units toward my Master’s in Special Education, I know how to adjust my teaching so that every learner has a real opportunity to succeed.
I bring energy and purpose into every lesson. I believe English should not simply be studied; it should be spoken, enjoyed, and used with confidence.
