About PHELISA

Young woman from a small town in the Karoo, Beaufort West. With just a dream of truly becoming the version of myself each and every day. Constantly seeking something challenging. Truly proud of the woman I am becoming and appreciate every passenger who boards my train on this journey of mine. I have a true passion for teaching and sharing the knowledge that I have gained from others as I have always wanted to give back to the community and firmly believe that teaching is the best way to give back to the new generation.

About the lesson

Provide each student with the theoretical understanding of the concept prior to calculations. I believe it is important to understand the logic of the calculation to enable one to interact and be comfortable in asking questions. I also provide a more realistic approach to questions, personalizing them to the reality and believe that "no question asked is a silly question". I personally strive to rejoice in each student's achievement and progress by keeping record of their academic performance at school or campus to track their progress and concepts we need to focus on. I believe in keeping in touch with students who truly wish to and guiding them in the profession I am currently embarking on.
