About Will

I am a 22-year-old musician and guitarist originally from Pennsylvania but living in Durham, North Carolina. I recently graduated from the British Irish Modern Music (BIMM) University in London, UK with a BA (Hons) Music and Sound Production. In my 3 years in London I played guitar in several recording sessions in some of the world-leading studios such as Abbey Road Studios and Strongroom. I am excited to begin teaching guitar locally! As someone who started their guitar journey by taking lessons from an instructor, I know how essential it is to build a solid foundation of theory and practical knowledge. I am eager to pass the torch and do this for young students who are looking to explore their passion for guitar!

About the lesson

My lessons are fun, quick, and engaging! I love to get to know my students on a personal level and encouraging them as they grow between lessons. I specifically work with beginners - people who want to pick up a guitar and start playing who never have before, or people who have some experience but want to learn more! I like to focus on open chords, bar chords, scales, and fretting techniques.
