About Arjie
I am a recent graduate of Brown University where I obtained a Bachelors degree in Applied Mathematics, Economics, and Biology. Since graduation, I've worked in finance as well as academic medicine, and have been utilizing the quantitative skills I fostered in undergrad in my professional life. In undergrad, I was a TA for a number of economics classes, a peer advisor in the economics department, and tutor for investments. I tutored high schoolers in mathematics outside of college classes, and worked at Mathnasium in high school. I have experience tutoring students ages 8-22.

I believe each student should have their own learning plan. I intend to meet with the student, assess their understanding of the content, figure our their academic goals, and work with them to put together a schedule. I come into each lesson with a carefully thought out lesson plan comprised of content review and applications/problem solving. I'm comfortable with working with students 3rd grade and up.
