My sessions are interactive and engaging. I provide my science students with knowledge-based checklists for each topic of their subject so that they can self-assess their progress and thoroughly understand the expectations of the exam board based on the specifications. I also provide detailed resources at the end of every lesson so the student can focus on learning and not just on making notes. In the beginning of the next lesson, we will have a brief recap of the last lesson and some exam-style questions so that you are well-prepared for your next exam or mocks. My goal is to help students grasp a better understanding of the subject area that they are studying, helping them reach their academic goals. I also have extensive experience in academic writing which includes proof-reading journal articles, theses and essays. I charge £25 per hour for detailed step-by-step guidance on how to write or structure your work. Proof-reading is a separate service, £14 per 1000 words.
