About Leyly
I graduated from the University of Cambridge with first class honours in French and Spanish in 2019. Since then, I have built a career in policy and human rights, recently attending graduate school in the US. However, I have not forgotten my passion for these languages and enjoy tutoring as a means to stay connected with the French and Spanish-speaking worlds. I am eager to create safe spaces for students to learn and actually enjoy the process of understanding a new language — and all the exciting things that come with multilingualism (a whole new world of films, books, and travel!).

First, I'll carry out a needs assessment to get a better idea of areas for improvement, as well as finding out more about your personal targets. Setting boundaries is just as important as 'pushing' the student and I hope to create an animated safe-space for language learning. We will also discuss how you think you learn best (the type of learner you are) so that I can tailor the lessons to your profile. I will issue regular (informal!) progress tests to make sure that my approach is helping you improve! For homework, I will also set questions from past papers to ensure that you can apply your knowledge in an exam context.
