About KEN
Learning Chemistry and Mathematics does not have to be difficult or intimidating. With the right guidance, every student can understand challenging concepts, build confidence and improve academically.
I am a qualified and experienced Chemistry and Mathematics teacher with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry Education and several years of classroom teaching experience. I have taught students at different levels and have successfully prepared students for major examinations including WAEC, JAMB, NECO and IGCSE.
My teaching is patient, structured and tailored to each student's individual needs. I do not simply give students answers; I guide them through the reasoning and problem-solving process so they can develop genuine understanding and become confident, independent learners.
Whether you need help strengthening your foundation, understanding difficult topics, preparing for an examination or improving your overall academic performance, I am committed to providing clear explanations, engaging lessons and consistent support.

My approach to tutoring is student-centred, practical and focused on achieving measurable improvement. I first assess each student's current level, identify areas of difficulty, and then structure lessons around their specific learning needs and goals.
I use clear explanations, step-by-step problem solving, worked examples, interactive questioning, practical applications and regular exercises to help students understand concepts rather than simply memorise them. For examination students, I also incorporate past questions, examination techniques, time management and targeted revision.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although I can adjust the duration depending on the student's age, level and learning objectives. Each lesson usually includes a brief review of previous work, introduction of the new concept, guided practice, independent exercises and a short assessment or recap.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry Education and have several years of teaching experience in Chemistry, Mathematics and other science subjects. I have taught and prepared students for WAEC, JAMB, NECO and IGCSE examinations, helping them build confidence and achieve strong academic results. I have also served as Head of the Secondary Section of a school, giving me additional experience in academic planning, student development and teacher supervision.
My lessons are suitable for secondary school students, typically ages 11–18, as well as students preparing for WAEC, NECO, JAMB and IGCSE examinations. I welcome both beginners who need stronger foundations and students who want to improve their examination performance.
