About AM
I graduated in Organismal Biology and Ecology with. 3.9 GPA from Colorado College. The year I applied, they had a 6% acceptance rate for the regular admission deadline. I am looking to work with high schoolers who need some extra explanation in cell-biology, ecology, geology, chemistry, mathematics (up to AP B calculus), and AP English comp. I am looking for students that need assistance in one or multiple of these areas. I have tutored college students in multiple of these areas, and I am very confident I can help you on your journey!

I excel at explaining things in multiple different ways. Whatever your learning style, I can explain in the way that best helps you. In our first lesson, I will ask you to take a learning style assessment so that I can better serve you! However you best learn, I can help you understand. And If you don’t understand one way I explain it, I will explain another and another until you not only understand, but can process it in the way best for you so that you can REMEMBER. :-) I welcome questions. I welcome “I do not understand.” Comfortable expression of confusion is so important to me, so that we can keep on addressing your confusion until it clicks. If you need to ask something 50 times in different ways to understand, great. I am here for you until you understand. I am excited to dive deep into different approaches for different subject matters. I have no judgement for questions, only a positive mindset and motivation to lend to you and your studies. Explained the right way, there is nothing you can’t understand! Explained the right way, all studies can be fun!
