About Peter
Peter Viola is a career educator, athletic coach and certified life coach. He is a former NEH* scholar, a curriculum specialist and a published author and spoken word artist who holds a Masters Degree in Teaching from Columbia University’s Teachers College, and a bachelor's degree in political science from Columbia as well. Peter is a former division one college baseball player and has coached various varsity level teams throughout his career. He is also the creator of the Woken Word and Hip Hop History, an all-rap format series that teaches the chapters of American History.
