About Amanda

I’ve helped students go from failing grades to strong passes in just a couple of months, and I love seeing that “lightbulb” moment when everything clicks. If you want to build confidence and understanding in math not just pass it, I’d love to work with you.

About the lesson

Hi, I’m Amanda! I believe math isn’t just about numbers—it’s about problem-solving and building confidence. I’ve been helping students understand math since high school, and nothing makes me happier than seeing them say, “Oh, I get it now!”

I tutor everything from basic arithmetic to college algebra, covering subjects like pre-algebra, algebra I & II, geometry, trigonometry, and etc. My approach is patient, encouraging, and personalized—I take time to understand each student’s learning style, whether they learn best through visual aids, real-life examples, or step-by-step breakdowns.

I’ve worked with students who were struggling and helped them turn things around—one went from failing tests to a solid B in just two months by learning how to break problems into manageable steps.
