About Charlotte
I am an economics graduate and I have been giving numeracy and literacy tuition for over 5 years to children of varying primary school ages. Some of my older students have successfully obtained grammar school places, with excellent scores in the maths and english sections of the entry tests.
I also have experience working in a day nursery setting, and so am able to communicate effectively with children of all ages.

My teaching method begins with an assessment of the student's abilities, by presenting a series of tasks that help me gauge which areas are a problem and thus need to be focused on more. Once this has been established, I will then tailor each lessons to the pupil's needs, which may involve presenting the topic from a different perspective to what has been shown in the classroom, in order to aid and advance learning. I tend to end each lesson with a plenary task to measure the success of the lesson.
I try to make the learning as active and engaging as possible to ensure the methods are remembered well and so far I’ve had a very high success rate !
