About Olivia
I have always enjoyed teaching and found avenues for expressing that interest through my own school years. I assisted my teachers in the help of others in my classes and began tutoring younger children, many with learning difficulties. As someone who suffers from dyslexia, I’ve found that I can better understand the issues many struggling with school can face as I developed different ways of doing work in comparison to “the norm”. I have found through my own work and study in the past few years that adapting my study plan and ways of working can assist in learning different things.

I have previously tutored young children with dyslexia and find that adapting the way that information is typically taught can be beneficial. I also encourage the student to teach me and to add games and competitiveness to the work so that students stay motivated by topics that typically bore them. Lessons are typically an hour. Any age up to GCSE, including primary education.
