My style is warm and friendly: I speak gently, explain clearly, and stay patient with no rush or scolding, keeping the mood light so you feel confident asking questions. I keep lessons practical and elementary-focused using simple words and familiar daily-life examples, and I can provide light, elementary-level practice or assignments suitable for Grades 1–4. I also offer inclusive language support without limiting lessons to pure English, adjusting my approach so you can understand comfortably and never feel lost.
A typical lesson plan
We begin with a 3–5 minute warm-up featuring a friendly greeting, quick check-in, and simple review to help you settle in comfortably. Next, a 5-minute introduction clearly states our learning goal for the day, such as new vocabulary, simple sentence construction, or a basic numeracy topic. I then spend 10–15 minutes teaching step-by-step with clear examples and gentle guidance, practicing together and correcting mistakes positively. This is followed by 5–10 minutes of guided practice where you try tasks independently with my support, before wrapping up in 3–5 minutes with a quick review, encouraging feedback, and—if you wish—a short, elementary-appropriate assignment to practice at home without feeling overwhelmed.
