About Laura
I have been teaching for more than 20 years, I started as an elementary school teacher and then as an ESL teacher, English as a second language. I have a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Psychology, starting working as an instructor on Selling Insurance and collaborating in the production of audiovisual material for training in different kinds of insurance.
As I was gaining experience, was promoted to supervisor in the Human Resouces Department and then Manager. During all these years I was also teaching one or two subjects ( related to Psychology) at some universities.
Right now I am working as a Manager assistant for a small company, but I would like to continue teaching.

I have used Spanish since the first lesson, emphasizing group interests, depending on the age of the students.
I would be able to teach beginners to advanced students.
I like the Pimsleur method, which has proven a fast language learning.
A typical lesson would describe a situation in Spanish and English for beginners and start talking. Example: you go on vacation to Los Cabos, and you met a girl,( a boy,)you say Hello pretty morning, (hola es una linda manana). They will have to repeat each other. And keep on introducing more phrases when the previous ones are learned.
Whenever you find out the group interests, the motivation for learning is achieved.
