As a graduate engineer and university lab instructor specializing in mathematics and algorithmic thinking, I bring a practical, structured approach to tutoring that helps students truly engage with the material.
Teaching Methodology and Techniques:I focus on breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps. I use real-world examples, visual aids, hands-on problem sets, and guided practice to make sure each student understands both the “how” and the “why.” I adjust my teaching style to match the student’s learning preferences — whether they need visual explanations, step-by-step logic, or application-based exercises.
A Typical Lesson Plan:Each session starts with a brief review to assess understanding, followed by a focused explanation of the day’s topic. We then work through carefully selected practice problems together, with me guiding the student’s thought process. Finally, we wrap up by reviewing key takeaways, addressing questions, and setting small, achievable goals for independent study.
