About Amirhossein

Hi! I’m Amirhossein, a Master’s graduate in Electrical and Computer Engineering and an experienced STEM tutor. Whether you’re trying to boost your high school grades or navigating complex university coursework, my goal is to help you build true confidence in math and science.

Why You Can Count On Me
Proven Academic & Teaching Background: Beyond holding an advanced engineering degree, I’ve worked directly as a university Teaching Assistant and spent years conducting private, one-on-one tutoring for both high school and undergraduate students.

Tailored, Student-Centered Approach: I know that no two students learn the same way. I take the time to understand where you're coming from, pinpoint where you're getting stuck, and adapt my teaching to fit your style.

Building Independent Thinkers: I focus on core principles and problem-solving strategies rather than short-term memorization. My ultimate goal is to give you the exact analytical tools and study habits you need to tackle tough problems independently.

Professional & Reliable: I am deeply committed to my students' progress. You can count on organized lessons, clear communication, and a supportive environment where asking questions is always encouraged.

I look forward to working together to help you master challenging material and achieve your academic goals!

My Teaching Style & Methodology
My goal isn’t just to help you finish today's homework—it's to show you how to learn on your own. I focus on teaching you how to fish, rather than just handing you a fish.

In math and science, memorizing formulas only gets you so far. We focus on first principles and logical reasoning so you can break down tough, unfamiliar problems independently—giving you the skills and confidence to handle hard exam questions on your own.

How a Typical Session Looks
First 10 mins: Quick review of recent material or identifying where you're currently stuck.

Next 15–20 mins: Unpacking core concepts using practical visual models and clear, step-by-step logic.

Next 20–25 mins: Hands-on practice. We start together, then transition to you leading the problem-solving while I guide as needed.

Final 5–10 mins: Key takeaways, answering remaining questions, and setting a clear focus for your independent study.

What Sets Me Apart
With a Master’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering, hands-on experience as a university Teaching Assistant, and years of private tutoring for university courses, I know where students struggle most. Having taught both at the university level and one-on-one, I know exactly how to bridge the gap between high school concepts and the higher-level analytical thinking needed for university-level STEM.

Who These Lessons Are For
High School Students (Grades 9–12): Math (Functions, Calculus, Vectors) and Sciences (Physics). Ideal for strengthening foundations, raising grades, or prepping for university engineering and science programs.

University Students: 1st- and 2nd-year undergraduate calculus, linear algebra, physics, and core engineering courses looking for dedicated, targeted support.

Independent Learners: Any student who wants to stop feeling overwhelmed by complex topics and master effective problem-solving skills that last.
