About Anastasia
I have a MS degree in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University and have served as a teaching assistant for multiple math and science courses during my time as an undergraduate and graduate student. I have worked on courses such as Probability/Statistics, Linear Algebra, Mechanics, and System Controls. Aside from my experience in the classroom I have over six years of laboratory research experience that gave me the opportunity to mentor and train many students from various cultural and educational backgrounds.

My teaching methodology depends on the needs of the specific student as well as the subject. I prefer to maximize the use of our time by focusing on the specific subject areas that the student struggles with. As a general rule, I like to start out the session with a brief introduction of the concept that we will be focusing on and then move on to working through custom selected sample problems as well as any problems or assignments that the student requests help with.
