About Majda

I am majida elouatani . I had graduated in english studies especially in literature at chouaib doukkali university. I also used to be a trainer in two different public schools for 2 years . One called eljadida school while the other was named elmobadara school .In the mean time I used to give extra courses to many different classes like primary and secondary sectors . Lately, I worked an English teacher in private school called isbah which was a great experience for me in which I learned many things as teaching students how to develop their self esteem , self performance and their speaking skills as well so that they can speak English fluently and to be able to talk with different kinds of people from different regions .

About the lesson

among all the lessons that I taught , one of them was a speaking lesson titled “hobbies
" that ranged from 5 to 10 minutes under the supervision of the international trainer and
coach qasserase Lhoussine and Amal kouchy. I mainly focused on the pre- speaking stage,
starting with greetings students and asking them some wh- questions about the last session
not only to activate their schemata but also to make them study in a comfortable
environment. For this reason, I assumed that learners should be in the center of teaching
process. I even tried to involve them to participate actively in the building of my lesson.
However, I didn’t show them the title from the very beginning. Instead, I opted for using a
game called “hot seat “, including some visual aid like pictures and my body language that
would be useful for students to guess what topic will be about. Based on all those strategies,
I managed to make the (STT) very high than (TTT
