About Harvey
Since leaving post-16 education I have been involved in some form of teaching, whether it be peripatetic music theory/violin tutoring or online RE tutoring alongside my degrees. Now I supervise RE lessons (key stage 3 to post-16 level) which allows me to further consolidate my knowledge and develop my attentiveness to the abilities of different students. Given how inseparable religion is from the world's history, culture, and geopolitics, I am keen to assist students beyond merely passing exams. In my lessons, students can engage with real-world issues, understanding how religious concepts contribute towards the political, ethical, and ritual diversity across the world.

Having taught across multiple mediums, ages, subjects, and cohort sizes, I believe in tailoring my teaching style to the stated needs and aims of the student. Whether you're a GCSE, undergraduate, or mature student, I am able to cater to varying exam specifications or personal goals. Lesson duration is typically an hour, but can be altered according to the student's schedule. I have received both first class BA and MA degrees in Theology and Religious Studies and currently supervise RE lessons in local secondary schools.
