About Mercado
I'm a UC Berkeley graduate currently working on another bachelor's in Computer Science. I have extensive experience in mental health with various populations in a variety of settings as well as experience in general working with children. I always bring an air of acceptance and understanding to the session to allow students to make mistakes whilst guiding them to the right approach.

Typical lesson plan includes working through homework/quiz/test problems and providing additional problems for the student to work through. Approach includes encouraging students to think about their approach and become problem solvers by building confidence via repetition and scaffolding. Positive reinforcement, patience, and kindness is key. Lessons can be for all ages as each lesson is tailored toward the individual.
