About Aidan
Hello! My name is Aidan Todd, I am from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and I am a composer, teacher, drummer, and pianist. I graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2023 with a degree in Contemporary Writing and Production, with a minor in Games and Interactive Media Scoring. I have been teaching private music lessons since 2019, and tutored music theory through Berklee during my senior year 2022-23'. Subjects offered in my lessons: 1. Music Theory (Jazz, Classical, Contemporary) 2. Ear Training (Both Harmonic and Melodic Dictations, Solfege, Sight Singing, etc.) 3. Arranging (for contemporary, jazz, and classical ensembles) 4. Orchestration 5. Conducting I would be happy to work with you on any amount of these, just let me know what your goals are and what works for you! Each lesson is personalized to the individual. Additionally, I charge per lesson.

In my music theory lessons, I give each student a unique curriculum from the ground up based on their previous experience, whether that be in-depth or starting from scratch. I focus on building a strong foundation in music theory, harmony, and ear training, with an extensive specialization in Jazz and Classical, as well as a specialization in contemporary styles such as pop, rock, and RnB, etc. For me, it's important to meet each student where they are; everyone has different backgrounds and goals, and I love building different curriculums based on each individual! I'm so excited to start working with you!
Recommendations
Recommendations come from relatives, friends and acquaintances of the teacher
Aidan was my co-worker and a strong positive influence on me when we worked as music tutors to college-aged students. He constantly went above and beyond to understand all aspects of music theory both within and outside the classroom, and I always witnessed him extending patience and empathy to every one of his students, even those struggling with their relationship to music at the time. He is well-respected and well-loved by students, co-workers and supervisors alike because of his admirable work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile for everyone. I recommend Aidan as a teacher to anyone who needs robust resources and a firm helping hand learning from mistakes and becoming a better musician, while growing into a more resilient and confident person in the process.
