About Gagan

Hi there! I'm Gagan Gaurav, a PhD student at the University of Edinburgh, and I'm thrilled to be your tutor. My academic journey began at the Indian Institute of Science (IISC), Bangalore, where I earned my degree in Biotechnology. Throughout my academic career, I've been fascinated by the intricacies of biological systems and the power of scientific inquiry.

As a researcher, I've had the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects, developing a deep understanding of complex concepts and honing my ability to break them down into accessible, engaging explanations. My experience has also taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and creativity in teaching.

I want to teach because I believe that science should be a source of wonder and empowerment, not intimidation. I want to help students see the beauty in the intricacies of biology and develop the skills and confidence to pursue their passions.

About the lesson

Welcome! I'm Gagan Gaurav S N, a PhD scholar at the University of Edinburgh. I served as a dedicated Biotechnologist and Research Associate at the prestigious Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. With 6+ years of experience in tutoring students for 11th & 12th grades in India (PUC, ISC, CBSE, IB and IGCSE), I've developed a passion for making complex concepts accessible and engaging.

My lessons are designed to be interactive, student-centric, and tailored to meet individual needs. I specialise in preparing students for competitive exams like NEET and JEE, using a range of innovative tools and techniques, including:
