About Mason
Hi I’m Mason! I graduated with a B.S. in Mathematics and Physics from Brandeis University, with Highest Honors in Physics, and awards for math mentorship and research excellence. I am excited to continue teaching math and physics to help students build confidence in STEM, and master problem-solving techniques!
Students can expect patient guidance, honest feedback, and a focused, supportive learning environment designed to improve both grades and confidence.

I approach tutoring with the goal to help students build genuine understanding and intuition, rather than to simply memorize. My teaching style is to
- Break down complex ideas into clear, logical steps
- Connect theory to real-world applications
- Emphasize problem-solving strategies rather than rote memorization
- Adapt explanations to each student’s learning style and level
A typical lesson plan will include a quick review of relevant material; a deep dive where I explain the core concept with visuals and examples; a guided practice where we work together; an independent practice where the student solves problems on their own; and then a summary where we recap the key takeaways.
