About John
Hi, my name is John , a P.H.D. holder in accounting from Georgia State University . I have taught accounting courses in the past 16 years in college, including at Clark Atlanta University and Georgia State University.
I have extensive teaching experiences in Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Cost accounting, Intermediate Accounting I & II, and Advanced Accounting. I also taught Financial Statement Analysis at the undergraduate and graduate levels. I enjoy seeing students’ progress as they learn and apply the concepts, I teach them.
I tutored accounting throughout college to other students and have extensive expertise in teaching accounting and finance concepts. I scored an average of 94 across all four parts of the C.P.A. exam and have tutored numerous C.P.A. exam candidates.
I was a T.A. in college for accounting, which was my minor. Being a T.A. involved teaching a weekly class to 30+ students and holding frequent office hours for students needing individual help. I scored a perfect 810 on the math section of my S.A.T.
