About Richard
As mentioned before I have a Master of Arts degree from CSULB and Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California, Los Angeles. My lessons are fun and engaging! I make use of Communicative Teaching and allow the student to learn the Spanish language through self-discovery as well. This means that not only do I focus on sentence structure and mechanics, but also assign compositions that allow the student to internalize grammar rules and vocabulary.

I have 10 years experience as a Spanish Professor at several community colleges in California. I have also taught Spanish to several demographics of students including college, high school and middle school students. My lessons include not only grammar, but cultural aspects as well. As a graduate student, I was a Teacher's Assistant to lower division university students.
