About Soph
I’m Sophie and I’ve been teaching A Level Art and Photography for 9 years. Before that I taught a mixture of Art, Textiles and DT at secondary schools (I was even persuaded to teach health and social care at one school!) I quit teaching for a year but realised all the work I was doing in that year off was “learning” based and I came to the conclusion teaching is in my blood.
I studied illustration at university and had a handful of graphics/illustration jobs before completing my PGCE. Recently, I’ve really enjoyed sketchbook reportage work as I’ve been travelling extensively for the past year with my family.The chance to explore new countries and cultures have inspired me to create a body of work for an exhibition in the near future.
