About Jalen
My name is Jalen, and I have a passion for teaching math. I've been tutoring my younger brother throughout his high school journey, and it inspired me to help others as well. I graduated from Cranbrook in 2017 and Columbia University in 2021. Beyond teaching math, I’m also committed to instilling the values of hard work and persistence—lessons I learned as a Division I football player. I understand the challenges of hitting a wall and know how valuable the support of others can be in overcoming obstacles. My goal is to be that support for students.
I hope to share my love for math and am always open to sharing life experiences, whether it's about overcoming challenges, music, or sports.
