About Weimar
Having received my Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Antioquia and specialized training in contrapunto, modern harmony, ear training, morphology, and orchestration, I have developed a deep understanding of diverse musical genres. My work as a pianist and accompanist for renowned international artists, along with my experience as an educator at esteemed institutions in Medellín, has equipped me with valuable insights into performance and pedagogy.
As the creator and director of various musical groups, including WAES EXPRESS BAND and WAES Jazz Quartet, I take pride in delivering captivating Latin jazz fusion performances that incorporate influences from classical to contemporary styles. My passion for music extends to conducting workshops, talks, and exhibitions on modern harmony, inspiring and encouraging others in their musical journey.
