About Tomas
I have been learning Spanish intensely ever since I was 13 years old. I've had the most amazing teachers along the way, and now I feel like it's time for me to impart some of their wisdom onto others. I also studied abroad in Madrid so I have a first-hand experience of Spanish culture, and my time in Spanish debate also exposed me to numerous other cultures. I have been a tutor before so I'd say I'm pretty good at sensing whether or not someone understands the material, and explaining it in different ways until they finally get it.

I'm a very interactive tutor that will bring a unique style of learning to the table. This could range anywhere from songs to current events but it is extremely effective in getting you to remember content not just for your next test, but in the long term years afterward. My lessons can be from beginners all the way to college level Spanish. We will have practice problems some days, short responses other days, and back and forth dialogue to increase the oral fluency because that is often the hardest for most people.
