About Talia
Some of my strong teaching experiences include: observing various teaching styles, theories, and methods, working for tutoring companies, substitute teaching E.S.L. and religious schools, and teaching private lessons. Interaction with foreign students comes naturally, because of my multicultural and multilingual skills which include competency in English, Spanish, and Hebrew. I delivered my expertise in the classroom via UC Irvine’s TESL certification. Thus, I gained the skills to teach your students effectively.
Besides which, to incorporate teaching, I plan to utilize my B.A. in music from C.S.U. Fullerton. For example, we could sing jazz chants or analyze grammar tenses in the songs we write and study. Finally, I believe that music can be a tool to create a positive educational environment lowering the “affective filter” of student fear, which occurs privately and publicly.
