About Lotanna

Hi, I'm a Business student at the University of Exeter with a passion for helping others achieve their academic goals.

Having gone through GCSEs, A-Levels, and university myself, I've identified many of the common mistakes and challenges that can hold students back. One of my main motivations for tutoring is helping students learn from these mistakes early, so they can study more effectively, avoid unnecessary setbacks, and reach their full potential.

My goal is not just to improve grades, but to help students develop a genuine understanding of business concepts, build confidence, and master the exam techniques needed to succeed. I tailor my lessons to each student's learning style, breaking down complex topics into simple, practical explanations and real-world examples.

I am patient, approachable, and committed to helping every student make progress. Whether you're aiming to improve your understanding, boost your confidence, or achieve top grades, I will provide the guidance and support needed to help you succeed.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is centred around helping students truly understand business concepts rather than simply memorising content. I break down complex topics into clear, real-world examples, ensuring students can apply their knowledge confidently in exams and coursework.

I focus heavily on exam technique, teaching students how to structure answers, analyse case studies, and maximise marks according to the requirements of their exam board. Alongside content knowledge, I help students develop critical thinking and commercial awareness, which are essential for achieving top grades in Business Studies.

Lessons are tailored to each student's needs and learning style. Typical lessons range from 60–120 minutes, although lesson length can be adjusted depending on the student's goals and preferences.

I am a Business student at the University of Exeter with experience mentoring junior students and supporting them academically. Through my studies and practical experience in finance, project management, and business-related roles, I have developed a strong understanding of business concepts and how to communicate them effectively.

My lessons are suitable for students studying Business at GCSE, A-Level, BTEC, or equivalent qualifications, and I welcome learners of all abilities who want to improve their understanding, confidence, and exam performance.
