About Jillian

I am a mechanical engineering graduate who has always excelled in math subjects, placing in advanced classes since early childhood. I also have been able to explain mathematics concepts to people who aren't as well-verse in these subjects. I'm very patient and willing to work with you through whatever you're having trouble with.

About the lesson

I typically like to talk with the student about what they need help with, and often like to go through a practice problem with them before allowing them to apply what they've learned to another part of the assignment, while still being available for guidance. I have created easy to understand mathematics study guides for kids and for adults who aren't as well-versed in math and would be happy to help any student with a guidance sheet as they strengthen their skills. I enjoy helping elementary and middle school students realize their capability in understanding mathematics concepts, especially when they at first are unable to see it. I can help in algebra, trigonometry, and elementary school math.
