About Caitlin
I recently graduated from Grand Canyon University with a 3.98 GPA, earning a Bachelor's in Exercise Science. In high school, I maintained a 4.2 GPA and earned 5's on my AP literature and AP psychology exams.
I am most knowledgeable in anatomy and physiology, psychology, and writing. Throughout my education, I have had extensive experience tutoring my peers and experimenting with how different learning styles impact understanding and retention, allowing me to adapt my approach to best support each student.
I also enjoy the opportunity to make learning fun for those who may not initially see it that way, employing positive reinforcement to build confidence and keep students motivated.

My approach as a tutor focuses on making learning effective, engaging, and personalized. I emphasize study strategies that promote long-term retention and adapt my teaching style to each student’s needs, whether that’s visual aids, verbal explanation, or guided note-taking.
A typical session will start with assessing the student’s understanding, followed by breaking down concepts into clear, manageable steps using examples and practice. I incorporate active learning techniques to reinforce understanding and end with a brief review and strategies for continued improvement.
What sets me apart is my ability to simplify complex material while building confidence.
I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and truly understanding the “why” behind what they’re learning.
My lessons are best suited for middle school and high school students who want to strengthen their understanding, study skills, and overall academic performance.
