About Tate
I like to take on the same role as any other teacher. I make it a point to connect with my students to better understand them, this allows me personalized teaching methods to ensure my students' understanding in the subject.

I usually stick to easy or relevant metaphors when explaining anything scientific in a way I know they can understand. I can even use simple diagrams and examples if the subject is more complex. As for literature, I use certain examples to highlight the key differences between correct or incorrect writing, as well as help them understand reading between the lines and keeping up with what they read. My level of tutoring can vary from 7th-11th grade, I've always enjoyed teaching others when it comes to science and literature as they are my favorite subjects.
