About Alexandra
Spanish is my first language and it is my native language. I was born in the Dominican Republic, and have always been surrounded by the latin culture.
I grew up working at my mothers home daycare and developed a love for teaching language to young ones. I worked as an after school counselor since the age of 16. After that, I became assistant director for the same after school program! I am currently studying to be a Speech Language Pathologist at Emerson College after focusing on cognitive and behavior in my undergrad studies at Hunter College.
Apart from one on one lessons and classroom teaching, I am open to offering group lessons for 3-4 students.

It is important to be attentive to everyone's learning style. I create lesson plans based on the students wants and needs. I create fun and creative lessons to get you really interested in learning Spanish! My teaching style includes more oral work and written practice in fun and practical ways so that you can learn spanish words/phrases that are used on a day to day basis!
