About Alicia
I am Alicia, a recent graduate from Huntingtower School. I did Math Methods, Specialist math, Chemistry, English, Music and Psychology for VCE. In 2025 I am attending Monash University studying Engineering and Commerce. I want to help students reach the best of their abilities and build confidence in math and/or science. I am always kind and patient with students and work to the best of my abilities to help the student in what is required and be best prepared for VCE Methods, Specialist and more. Previously I have tutored young students from primary school to help them gain confidence in the desired subject. I understand the anxiety that comes from falling behind as well as the determination to be ahead.

First lesson will be to determine the type of help needed - fixing gaps in knowledge to bring student to classroom level, or accelerating student to higher than classroom level. Once determined, we go through the basic skills of the topics according to the Victorian curriculum, where if needed I guide the student through questions and explain topics that are new and topics that require more assistance in understanding. The goal of lessons is to ensure a solid understanding of topic skills as well as applications of those skills. Lessons are personalized according to what the student needs- whether it’s help with applications or understanding.
