About Andrea

I have a strong academic and professional background in economics and analytics. Graduating magna cum laude in Economics, I developed expertise in algebra, calculus, optimisation, and econometrics. And later earned a Master’s in Business Analytics from Imperial College London, graduating with merit where I strengthened my knowledge in advanced statistics and quantitative methods. Currently, as a Marketing Scientist, I apply advanced statistics to help marketers make data-driven decisions. I’m passionate about teaching and supporting students to build strong foundations for long-term success, not just good grades. My experience volunteering with children has also strengthened my ability to connect with students of all levels.

About the lesson

Techniques and Teaching Methodology: My teaching approach is structured and interactive, focusing on a balance of theory and practice. Approximately 40% of the lesson is dedicated to explaining the theory in a clear and accessible way, ensuring the student understands the fundamental concepts. The remaining 60% is devoted to exercises, where students apply what they have learned. During this time, I work closely with them to review their answers, guiding them through both the correct and incorrect solutions. This process helps identify areas for improvement and reinforces their understanding. Typical Lesson Length: Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes, providing sufficient time to cover theory, practice exercises, and review feedback effectively. Who the Lessons Are For: My lessons are designed for students ranging from school to high school levels. I tailor my teaching to suit the age, skill level, and learning pace of each individual, ensuring a personalised and effective learning experience.
