My approach to teaching math is patient, encouraging, and focused on helping students understand concepts rather than simply memorize formulas. I break down challenging problems into simple steps, use real-life examples, and provide practice problems to build confidence and problem-solving skills.
A typical lesson begins with reviewing previous concepts, identifying areas of difficulty, explaining new material, and practicing problems together before allowing students to work independently.
As a Kinesiology graduate and Division I athlete, I bring strong analytical skills, discipline, and dedication to every lesson. I make math approachable and enjoyable while encouraging students to stay motivated and confident.
My lessons are ideal for elementary and middle school students who want to strengthen their math foundations, improve classroom performance, complete homework, and prepare for tests. I tailor each session to the student's individual learning style and academic goals.
